It looks like it just might be but do you have some more information to share? Maybe some more pictures or maybe even a web site?

It would certainly seem to be something worth knowing a little more about!
    Cheers!

My dream layout is finishing off half of our attic and then building a horseshoe layout around three sides of the finished area. When they built out house, they built the attic with storage in mind, but I don't think they ever intended for it to become any kind of second story room. Although, when they built up the trusses, they managed to avoid any cross bracing, leaving a nice big open area. With a short wall on each side, the room can still have plenty of room to work with.

    Well, its a dream

    It's not a model. It's a Photoshopped version of CP's Pig's Eye yard.

    Here's the original:

    (again, photo by John Fladung)

I forget the name of the technique used, but it's a neat way of making real-life photos look like models. Has something to do with the apparent focal depth of the image. There's even a website that will automagically do it for you.

Would be nice to have a model yard that big, though!

    Busted.

I think Jeff figured it out first but you're mostly right TwinDad. Actually, no Photoshop involved. I just used that website you referred to.

I would bet that I could never afford to build that layout. It would be fun though. Way in the background and a bit right of center is a hump.

That is great- had me fooled. Now, can we mathematically do the opposite: make our models look like the real thing! Maybe some clever programmers can figure it out.

Yeah, I think he was playing it cool. I was so excited I recognized it that I couldn't help myself!

I kinda wish I'd let it play out a little longer, but I couldn't help getting the scoop!

My dream layout would be the same as my current layout. Except it would be finished
