Randgust has announced a CF7 kit coming. The first I know of to be produced for this popular HO model.
I think it's about time the CF7 was produced in N Scale. With the many different Shortlines that have or still do use this little workhorse Switcher.
The model has sold out four runs by Athearn in HO but till now never offered in N.

Randy does great work, I have one of the Class A Climax logging loco kits. Randy says this CF7 kit uses the "Atlas GP7/GP9 (2006 copyright frame date) mechanism."
All the best,
Charles
I too have one of Randy's Class A Climax and it is a great kit. Randy does first class work all the way!

Since my SVRR is loosely based on the Reading and Northen (RBMN), and they had a couple of these, I've been toying with the idea of trying to semi-scratch build at least one of these. Now I won't have to! I'll send him an e-mail to express interest in this.
