    Default CSX Intermodel Train Video

I hope I have this in the correct part of the forum, if not please let me know and I'll repost in the appropriate location.... Anyway, while railfanning yesterday I was able to catch this CSX intermodel train going by at at about 45MPH just west of Brunswick, MD. I'm not too big into modern operations, but I know some of the people here are so I thought I'd post it.

If you like intermodel this is the video for you, if you like the CSX all the better, but I think anybody that enjoys a long train breaking a steep grade will like this. Sorry about the "shaky cam" and poor quality but I took it using the video feature on my camera and it was FREEZING COLD so my hands were shaking...

    Enjoy - Bob

very cool. always love just hearing the rumbling noise coming from the engine! I shake when its cold too. I am thinking of investing in a tripod for my railfanning experience, even if its just for photos and not video.

I feel that a tripod is an absolute must have.

    For stills and video.

I hate getting seasick watching hand held videos.

Even a monopod is better than hand held.
    Have fun.

Me too, nothing quite like the ground shaking when those bad boys go by too!

Agreed, hence the preemptive apology for the shakyness. I was chasing that train in my truck and don't think I would've been able to set up a tripod in time. I might look into picking up a cheap one for future excursions.
